Purple Flowers

Flower, Nature

Photograph of Flowers

After doing a little research I have learnt that this is the Allium Hollandicum plant which is native to Iran and Kyrgyzstan but which has, in recent years, been cultivated worldwide for its ornamental appeal.

The perfectness of the spheres of small flowers is the one aspect of these that is so pleasing. Nature often gives examples of perfect symmetry and proportion, and this is one of them.
