This basil plant (or as it is known as locally, tulsi plant) growing on my balcony may look old and withered, but we often use its leaves in our food.

Hi Vidur,
your photos are great, but you should minimize them. Loading of your page takes a while 😉
I use approx 150 KB/photo for the internet. Nobody can use them for large prints and loading is fast. I have till now 292 articles with lots of photos but only used 16% of memory capacity.

Do you compress your full size images to a smaller size before uploading? Also, doesn’t a size as small as 150 kb make the photos less clear?

I compress before uploading.
It doesn’t matter for the www how clear the photos are, as first you don’t want other people to use your photos and 2nd you don’t need a lot of capacity and 3rd your site is loading much faster 😉
Not everybody in the world has fast internet. Just give it a try, if you don’t like it you go back to your former loading 😉
